Montreat Baseball: Another trip to the Region Tournament

Advancing to NAIA regional play has become old news for the Montreat Baseball program. For the third time in four years the Cavaliers will be competing in the NAIA Region XII tournament.
Midway through the season the Cavaliers were on the outside looking in but a late season surge has propelled the Cavs into the region tournament as well as the #2 seed in this weeks AAC tournament.
Head Coach Travis Little had these comments about his team's late season run: ""It feels good to finish up strong, back at the top of the league after all of the adversity that we have had this season with injuries. It is always nice to know that you have secured your spot in Regional tournament play. In four years we have been able to make Regionals three times and having a chance to make it to the College World Series is very important for us every season".
