MBA students are eligible for loans to help with the cost of their program. Federal and state grants are NOT available for graduate degrees.

If you would like to borrow, you will need to complete the Free Application faor Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Montreat College Verification Worksheet, and the Montreat College Financial Aid Application. The Verification Worksheet and Financial Aid Application are available in the form bank. Please indicate on your paperwork that you are an MBA student. If you are a first-time Montreat College student, you must complete an entrance interview at http://www.mapping-your-future.org

Please forward all information to the Montreat Financial Aid Office. We can transmit the FAFSA to the processing center electronically for you.

How much can I borrow?

MBA students are eligible to borrow a maximum of $18,500 per year or up to the student's cost of attendance, whichever is less. The maximum subsidized is $8,500 and the maximum unsubsidized is $10,000. Please note that you may never borrow more than the cost of your award period. Your award packet will explain cost and eligibility for loans.

The financial aid process takes about four weeks. Remember you must be accepted to be awarded.

If you have questions, please contact Lisa Lankford.
