The 2011 U.S. News and World Report rankings for the Best Colleges in the U.S. have been released, and Montreat College landed in the magazine’s list of the Best Southern Regional Colleges for this academic year. Montreat College joined High Point University, Lenoir-Rhyne University, Mars Hill College and a handful of other schools on the Best Southern Regional Colleges list.

The Princeton Review has named Montreat College as one of its “Best in the Southeast” institutions of higher learning. The nationally-known education services company posted its “2011 Best Colleges” list on its PrincetonReview.com website on August 2, 2010 and included Montreat as one of 133 institutions selected from the Southeast region.
