Gateways for...

As I walk through the Montreat campus among the falling leaves and talk with students and faculty, I am reminded of the treasure of this place in the beauty of this cove. Providing wisdom and guidance to this treasure is a fine group of Christian men and women, our Board of Trustees, who recently met on campus. At their fall Board meeting, the trustees engaged in exciting discussions of strategic issues, and I am confident in the future of Montreat College as we continue to seek to be a leading provider of Christ-centered higher education.

 

This Thanksgiving, I am mindful of God’s provision in sustaining Montreat College these 93 years, and I look forward to all that He has planned for the years to come. Please join with me and the College community in prayers of thanks for all that the Lord is doing in the lives of our traditional students in Montreat and our adult students who pursue their education while working full-time; for the trustees, administrators, faculty and staff who labor on their behalf; for the generations of alumni who are serving as agents of reconciliation in their communities; and for the many friends who support our Christ-centered mission.
