Dr. Dan Struble on Montreat College's Role in Christian Education
Montreat is intentionally and unapologetically committed to Christ. That makes Montreat distinctive even among many church-affiliated institutions. Everything we build must stand upon that foundation and reinforce that commitment.
One question I received during the interview process was essentially asking whether Montreat would stand for its faith at a time of drift in some denominations. Let me assure you that under my leadership, Montreat will stand firm. We should clearly articulate this position, so that students who are strongly committed to Christ, who believe that the Word is authoritative, and who want to develop their God-given talents in an affirming and inspirational educational community, will know that they belong at Montreat.
