Expect to pay for your first couple of books and classes out of pocket for each of your academic years until aid is disbursed to your account. You may then reimburse yourself with funds from your account by sending a written request to the Accounting Office.
Communication with Financial Aid:
The most efficient method of contact for the financial aid office is email. Please make sure we have your current email address to make sure you receive the best service from our office. Once you are a student, all official communication will go to your Montreat email address, and you will be responsible for checking it regularly.
Financial Need:
Most students' financial aid funds are awarded based on financial need. The exceptions to this are unsubsidized Stafford Loans.
