Rev. Carolyn Poteet stays plenty busy. As the Associate Pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Hendersonville, N.C., she teaches classes to all ages, helps lead worship, preaches, counsels, and conducts visitations. Montreat College is pleased that Poteet will add another event to her agenda when she speaks on Thursday, November 19 at 11:00 A.M. in Gaither Chapel. The public is invited to join Montreat College students for this time of worship.

A native of the southwestern part of Virginia and a holder of a Master of Divinity degree from Duke University, Poteet worked for seven years for World Vision, a Christian humanitarian organization, during which time she traveled to 38 different countries.
