Hayes, a natural shooting guard, led all scorers in Western N.C. his junior season with a 26.0 ppg average. Having to transition to point guard this season, the 6-3 Hayes has still managed to average an impressive 22 points a game while dishing out 10 assists per game in his new role.
Perhaps even more impressive than his basketball resume are Hayes' academic achievements. He currently maintains a 3.7 GPA and will graduate from Marion Christian with honors.
A 6-6 center, Harris has dominated the post this season in conference play, averaging 25 points and an astonishing 15 rebounds per game. His biggest test of the season was facing Veritas' 7-1 Catalin Baciu, who is on his way to Clemson. Marion Christian suffered a 40-point loss that night, but Harris shined against Baciu, outscoring him 29-17 and drawing five fouls on him in the matchup. Harris also excels in the classroom, holding down a 3.0 GPA while at MCA.
