Brandy made the varsity volleyball team as a freshman; as a sophomore she was name honorable mention All-Conference; her junior year she was team MVP, Smoky Mountain All Conference, and honorable mention All Western North Carolina. As a senior she was team MVP, Smoky Mountain All Conference, was chosen for the All-Star red and blue team for the state, and she earned over 500 kills in two seasons.
Brandy also holds All Conference positions in basketball and she has broken her school record for high jump twice and held 13th in the state for high jump as a freshman. Brandy was also the first female athlete to compete on the varsity football team as the starting kicker.
Brandy definitely gets the job done on the court and field but she also works very hard in the classroom. As a freshman she was named to the All Academic team and has been a member of the Honor Society for three years running.
