Men's Basketball falls to Tennessee Wesleyan on the road

Kinard Barnett (Sr., Charlotte, NC) had another stellar night for the Cavalier basketball squad, scoring 21 points, grabbing six rebounds, and dishing out three assists; however, it was not enough to hold off Tennessee Wesleyan, as Montreat dropped a tough AAC contest, 73-86. MJ Njoku and senior Aaron Collazo were the other two Cavaliers to hit double-digits. Njoku had 16 for the night, while Collazo earned 11 of his own off of 4-for-11 shooting. Montreat was out-rebounded 38-23 and shot a total 41% from the floor, compared to Tennessee Wesleyan's 54%.

Montreat is now 11-17 overall and 8-8 in the AAC standings.  The Cavaliers are currently tied with Union College for fourth place in the AAC.

The Cavaliers continue to wrap up their season by hitting the road for the last time in the regular season as they take on the AAC's second ranked team, Bluefield College this Tuesday.
