Montreat College would take on Division II Mars Hill at Newell Field on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon and come away with a 9-2 victory for their 30th win of the season. Patrick Ballew would be the starting pitcher for the Cavaliers and he would not surrender the first hit until the sixth inning. He would finish the day only allowing one hit and recording six strikeouts. Brian Greene would finish the game on the hill relieving Ballew in the eighth. Jesse Wise would have a day to remember as he would hit three homeruns and have five RBI on the day. The senior catcher would also play incredible defense as well throwing out two runners trying to steal. Steven Hoyle and Dane Phillips would have three hits apiece as well.

Montreat College continues on Saturday in Barbourville, Kentucky against Union College in a Conference doubleheader.
