Montreat’s volleyball team won its first 3 game match against an AAC team last night at McAlister Gymnasium. The Lady Cavs took it to Milligan College 30-28, 30-22, and 32-30. “This was the first time we beat a conference team in three straight,” said Head Coach Leslie Gehris, “I’m so proud of our ladies. They played fantastic tonight. Our fans were fabulous again and we appreciated all the support.” Leading Montreat’s offense was freshman Rebekah Henderson. Henderson recorded 9 kills against the Lady Buffaloes and 11 digs. Jessica Huntley had another consistent defensive night by earning 12 digs of her own.
