The Montreat College Women's Golf Team finished in second place to be the First Golf Team in the College's history to bring home a trophy for the golf programs at Montreat.

2). Montreat College, Montreat, NC -- 386-394=780
3). Union College, Barbourville, KY -- no team score, not enough players for team score
4). Southern Virginia University, Lexington, VA -- Withdrew from tournament.

This is only the fourth tournament for the women's golf team in their first year as a team sport at Montreat College. The women's golf team will be in Rutledge, GA this weekend in the Piedmont College Spring Golf Tournament. The dates of the tournament are March 17-19, 2007. Congratulations to the Women's Golf Team on their second place finish.
