Men's JV Basketball win home game against Anderson College, 71-61
AJ Smith's perimeter shooting helped Montreat's JV basketball squad win their first game of the season against Anderson College's JV, 71-61. Smith was perfect from the behind the arc (3-3) in route to his 22 points for the night. "I felt we played really well tonight," said Head Coach Bill Robinson, "we had a lot of guys contribute... we had ten guys score tonight. I think the team play is getting better." Other leading scorers for the night were Mike Martin, Korey Eller, and Nate Rooth, scoring eight points a piece.
The win gives the JV squad a 1-2 record, as they continue action on the road this Thursday against The Patterson School. Game time is schedule for 5:00pm.
