Toby Brooks was born in Greenville, TN. Toby attended Tusculum College on a baseball scholarship. He earned his degrees in Math/Computer Science and Education from Tusculum in 1991. After graduation, Toby joined the volleyball and softball programs at Tusculum as assistant coach. He would later be named head coach of both programs.
