About the Major

The major in psychology at Montreat will equip students on both a personal and an academic level, having realistic ideas about how to implement their psychological knowledge, skills, and values in a variety of occupational settings. Students will gain familiarity with and understanding of current concepts and historical trends in the field of psychology as well as basic research methods, design, and analysis.

Graduates with degrees in Psychology will find a large number of options available to them whether they want to begin working immediately or desire to attend graduate school.
