On Teaching

Education
B.S. in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Math from Taylor University.
M.S. in Science from Michigan State University.
Master of Divinity from North American Baptist Seminary in Sioux Falls, SD.
Additional graduate work at Ball State, New York University, and the University of Alaska at Anchorage.

Work Experience
CEO of Ingenius ATG, Ingenius LLC, and Ingenius Powersystems.
Member of the Board of Directors for ESCN, which is a research and development company.
Member of the Board of Directors of Doctors Directory, an internet service that locates doctors, health plans, and hospitals.
Member of the Board of Directors of Core Evaluation Systems, which is a building analysis firm.
Member of the Board of Directors of AMTS, which develops battery monitoring devices.

Teaching Experience
Associate Professor of Environmental Studies at Montreat College since 1986.
Professor at Nyack College for 12 years.
Taught math for two years in the public school system.
Certified Environmental Educator for the State of North Carolina.
 
Affiliations
Certified Search and Rescue Technician.
Has course experience with the Wilderness Education Association.
Leader in the Boy Scouts of America.

Biking, twice across the U.S. and once across Europe.
