     What's more, all classes in the major are designed to give you job skills that will make you employable when you leave Montreat:

• data analysis,
• interview skills,
• political analysis,
• scriptwriting,
• group leadership, etc. 

     Our goal is that you would know what you think and why....and that you would be able to communicate it effectively.  Also that you would be able to determine what others think and why. That you would be able to create effective messages and have the ability to evaluate their impact. 

     We live in a culture that desperately values and needs good communicators, in person and through media.  This major teaches those skills.  Our goal is that you will be able to impact the world for Christ through communication and do so with excellence!
