Minors in Bible and Religion at Montreat

REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN BIBLE IN RELIGION

Montreat College offers a minor in Bible and Religion that requires a
minimum of 18 semester hours including:

Twelve hours from Bible and Religion, Greek and/or Hebrew.
Six hours from Cross-Cultural Studies and/or Christian Education
At least 12 of the 18 hours must be at the 300- or 400-level.

The Bible and Religion minor is designed to assist students to strengthen
their understanding of the Bible and explore the relationship between it and their major discipline. It seeks to prepare students to be biblically informed agents of renewal and reconciliation in the world.


REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Eighteen hours of courses to include: BB 211, 305, CE 201, 301, 303, GE 341.

 
REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES

Eighteen hours of courses to include: PH 201, 301, IS 202, plus nine hours from the following courses: EN 402, HS 301, 302, 303, 309, 310.
