Judy Jackson, an online student in the School of Adult and Graduate Studies, recently made the Dean’s List for her exceptional academic performance. The Dean’s List achievement is awarded to students with at least a 3.5 GPA.
Judy said of her achievement, “I want to set an example to my children and grandchild that education is important in every walk of life.”
Montreat College’s School of Adult and Graduate Studies began online programs in January 2012. Judy was the college’s first full-time student in the bachelor of business administration online program.
In addition to her work as an online student, Judy is also an accounting manager by occupation, a mother, a youth leader at her church, a year-round volunteer with Operation Christmas Child, and is currently serving in her third term on the Polk County Board of Education in Polk County, N.C.
